Peanuts PaintFest 2025.

On October 2, 2025, Srebrnjak Children’s Hospital hosted the Peanuts PaintFest, a joyful event designed to bring comfort and creativity to our young patients. Children had the opportunity to paint alongside their family members and hospital staff in a warm and supportive atmosphere. The colorful artworks created during this event will decorate and brighten the walls of our Hospital and will be available for everyone to see and enjoy.

This special event was organized through the joint efforts of Srebrnjak Children's Hospital Department of Healthcare Quality Assurance and Improvement, the dedicated nurses of the Allergy Department, and the teachers from the Hospital School, with strong support from hospital management.

PaintFest is part of a global initiative led by the Foundation for Hospital Art based in Woodstock, Georgia, USA. For years, this Foundation has brought smiles to patients through art in healthcare facilities worldwide.

This year's PaintFest theme was the 75th anniversary of the beloved Peanuts comic strip (which later became a cartoon) known in Croatia under its character name Charlie Brown.
It was a pleasure to participate in this project and we would like to thank the Foundation for Hospital Art and Mrs. Amy Kehler for including us in this project. We look forward to future opportunities for collaboration.
